Lodge Hatea 431 Raises Funds and Community Spirits at the Relove Recycle Kids Market
For Freemasons, supporting our community and charitable causes is central to everything we do. Recently, we enjoyed another fantastic day out at Whangārei’s Relove Recycle Kids Market, held at the popular Pohi Island Bike Park, raising funds and connecting with local families.
The market offers local parents the chance to sell gently-used children’s clothing, toys, and essentials they no longer need. It’s also a great opportunity for expecting parents and current mums to pick up quality items at bargain prices, supporting sustainability and reducing waste.
Our Lodge Hatea 431 members had a wonderful day meeting and chatting with the local community, raising a total of $165 for KidsCan—a charity dedicated to providing essentials for Kiwi kids who need it most.
To add even more excitement to the event, two lucky attendees walked away with fantastic prizes. One fortunate market-goer won an unforgettable ride in a McLaren 570S Supercar, and another lucky winner received a $50 Pak’nSave voucher—both guaranteed to put smiles on faces.
If you’re interested in joining Freemasonry or want to learn more about our organisation, we’d love to hear from you! Freemasonry is a benevolent organisation for men seeking to refine their character, build meaningful friendships, and make a real difference in their communities.
Lodge Hatea 431 would like to thank everyone who supported our fundraising efforts, visited our stall, and helped us to make this event a success. We can’t wait to see you all at the next Relove Recycle Kids Market!
Together, we can achieve even greater things!
